# Variable changes from integer to variant

Good day.  
I have a problem related to variables. I define a variable of type integer, saved the project and leave. When you open it again, the variable is set to variant.  
Can someone tell me what I can do for her to keep the Integer?

Hi Sysmo,   
  
 Thanks for contacting us on the forums here about the issue your seeing with integer variables.   
  
 I have tried creating a simple project with an integer variable and when saved it remains an integer on the next load. I was wondering what version of FinalBuilder you were using? There might be a bug which was fixed in a previous version which your experiencing.   
  
 Another thought here is that there is something else occurring in save because of other defined variables or persistent variables.   
  
 Lastly are you using any variable define actions? These could potentially change the variable type of an already defined action.

Hi.  
I who thank you for answering me.  
  
The version I’m using the FinalBuilder is 7.0.0.2910.  
Declared the variable as a user variable. I tried several settings, but the situation persists.  
  
If necessary, I can make a video demonstrating the situation.
