# Using signtool

Hi, I'm evaluating FinalBuilder and all is going well until I come to replicate my code signing action in FB. I get the error:

"No path to the executable has been provided"

When I use my own batch file, this command line works fine:

c:\sign\signtool.exe sign /f "c:\sign\globalsign.pfx" /p tesrod "%releasedir%\*.exe"

I've nominated the exe that I need to sign in 'Specify Files' and entered "C:\sign\globalsign.pfx" into 'Certificate'. PAssword is also filled in.

Can anyone suggest what I'm missing please?

You need to specify the path to tools in the FinalBuilder Options dialog :

Thanks for your quick reply. I have solved this now using the Authenticode action which works perfectly.

Hi,

i have the same also,

i have running in all the test project "Signtool" Action and from one minute to another i got the same error. After changng to authenticode it works. But anyway, if someone knows about this error would be nice to hear about it. I have controlled the path to the singtool - all is correct and the files exists.
