# Unable to add trigger to Perforce Repository

Once you have a Perforce Repository working and verified and you try to add a trigger on that Repository you get an error that the “Branch Pattern is required” even though that field is not available to populate.&nbsp; Screenshot attached.

 Thanks for the report, we were able to reproduce the problem here, seems to be validating fields it’s not supposed to… looking into it.
