# Text Find / Replace RegEx Performance

I&nbsp;am using the Text Replace step with Regular&nbsp;Expression.

I&nbsp;am trying to&nbsp;replace ((?s).\*?CUTHERE\*\*\/) with blank space but the step has been running for over&nbsp;20 minutes using 50% CPU on a dual core system.

It's a 1mb&nbsp;.SQL&nbsp;script file so I don't&nbsp;think it should take that&nbsp;long... I'm simply trying to remove all the lines from the beginning of the document to the line that is /\*\*CUTHERE\*\*

Even if I&nbsp;signal a Stop, the process will continue to run.&nbsp;If I try to close FinalBuilder, it says it needs to end the build, but FinalBuilder continues to run the step at 50% CPU&nbsp;and never closes. I have to kill the process.
