# Templates per project

Hi,

the current design to have templates per build state limits their use. The templates are mandatory for all teams and projects. While i think this can be done by a team decision, how about supporting the creation of templates and assigning them in subscriptions?

We can see how this would be useful. It would however be a significant amount of work and we have many other priorities in development at this stage. Note that it is possible to use if/elsif/else/unless conditions to switch the template content based on a property of the project or configuration.
