# SVN Update

Hi,  
At the Subversion Update Settings,&nbsp;(File and Folder Options)&nbsp;i use the path, where i normally do the update. What is the difference of Work Folder and Path?  
The (repository)&nbsp;projects are saved on a network server.&nbsp; Where do I enter the server name and the checkout directory? Are the settings &nbsp;(tool/options) of repository default and the utility options important?
