For many of my actions, I’ve selected “Suppress Log Messages” from the Runtime tab. However, these actions still log into the XML. Am I doing something wrong?

I read a related post but this seems like a bug to me. As a work-around, could the task emit a suppress logging attribute which could be evaluated within an XSLT transformation?

Thanks.

Hi Jeff,

The suppress log messages will only ignore the actual messages produced by the action (not the fact that the action ran - the log requires this information for parenting purposes). The suggestion of flagging the action in the xml is a good idea though 🙂

cheers,
tate.
