# Suport for C++ builder 2006

Actualy we have a project (with several subprojects) in Borland C++ Builder 6 and we are using Final Builder 4 for our build process.
My company wants to move to the new version of the borland c++ compiler, borland C++ builder 2006, I have two questions:
- Is posible compile projects of borland builder 2006 with the current Borland Compiler Action in FB4?
- Are plans to support Borland C++ 2006 y future versions of FB?

Hi Alfredo,
There is a specific action for compiling C++ Builder 2006 projects called “C++Builder 2006 Project” in the Compilers category.

Sorry tate but I can’t find anywhere the action called "C++ Builder 2006 project"
In the “Feature matrix - compiler Actions” page on this site i see the following borland compilers action:

- **C++ Builder Project** -\> this action support Borland 5 and Borland 6 projects (not borland 2006 projects), it’s the one that i actually use.
- **Delphi .Net Project** -\> For delphi versions 8, 2005 and 2006
- **Delphi win32** -\> for create native win32 aplications with delphi
- **Borland C#** -\> for C# borland compiler
¿where is the C++ builder 2006 project action?, I use Final Builder 4 Profesional Edition 4.0.0.103, ¿the action is in a newer version?

Hi again Tate, the problem is solved.
I download the last version available of final builder (4.1.0.228) and there is the “c++ builder 2006 project”.
only a suggestion: the first time i run the action breaks because can’t find the executable archive “bdsproj2mak.exe”. This executable is a separate donwnload from the official version of borland C++ 2006 builder. perhaps you can include a advice in the help or indicates in the error message that this executable is donwloadable from the url: [http://info.borland.com/06/bds/bds2006\_reg\_updates\_down.html](http://info.borland.com/06/bds/bds2006_reg_updates_down.html).
