I am using FinalBuilder scripts in Continua for various monitoring purposes, including checking performance of web services and websites. Would be great to have a “stopwatch” action that would let me do simple arithmetic to find differences between points in time.

I like this idea, It would be a good way to record build performance metrics, ie if something usually takes 10 minutes and suddenly it’s taking 20 minutes, you might want to flag that somehow.

I would like to see the metrics reported to Continua CI for display.

We’ll give this idea some serious thought.
