# StartProjectWithVariables - Server was unable to process request. ---> Object reference not set to an instance of an object

&nbsp;I'm trying to build a small web site that uses the FB web services to do a few tasks on our build servers. So far it has been able to list projects and even get prompt values and display basic information.

Now i'm at the point i want to gather user input and start projects but its failing... I've tried serveral different projects with different prompt types and every one of them fails with...&nbsp;

## _Server was unable to process request. ---\> Object reference not set to an instance of an object._

I can't seem to find ANY examples of using this method... can someone please show me the light??&nbsp;

&nbsp;RTFM error on my part..

"Start Project With Variables

Adds the project to the build queue with the variable values specified. Variables to be specified in format ' **VariableName=VariableValue'**

&nbsp;

Parameters:

Authentication Token -&nbsp;string

Project Name -&nbsp;string

Variables - array of String"

&nbsp;

I wasn't setting the array of variables correctly.. now that i added the variable name= in fornt of each value it works!&nbsp;
