I have use the SQL Server backup action in one of our build scripts. I've set the settings to remove one week old backups (see picture). however when the script is run, the log says that the action completed ok but the old backups are still there. I'm wondering if I've set things up incorrectly or if this possibly is a bug?

I've tried on both sql server 2008 and sql server 2008 r2 servers.

The build server is running from one machine with an administrator account. I've tried both using integrated login and sql server login.

I'm using finalbuilder 7.0.0.812.

Hi Andre,

I’ve checked the command line options that we’re passing to the sqlmaint utility and they appear to be correct, could you have a look in the logs and see if the arguments are indeed listed?

Regards,
Paul.
