It would be really helpful if FB could save a property set to a variable.
This would enable a FB script to conveniently pass version information from the script to an install engine such as Inno.

To some extent this can be done now, by saving the property set to an ini file, but this is not as convenient as a variable. For example, with a variable, I can replace the value of #define statements in an inno script, from FB, but I cannot do the same with an ini file.

Also, how about extending the fundamental types for variables to include stringlist?

Faithfully,

Have you had a look at the “PropertySet to Variable” action? If so, can you tell me how we can improve it so that it works better for you.
