# Running an exclusive Continua Build

_**Apparently I posted this in the wrong (FinalBuilder) forum. I'm reposting here.**_
I have a large DEPLOY build that I want to run exclusive of all other builds.
That is, I have to be sure builds don't walk on each other. Specifically, I have a couple of CI builds that could interfere with the larger DEPLOY build.
How can I guarantee that all other jobs are put on hold once the DEPLOY job starts running?

Hi Jay,
You can’t currently do this. We do however have a new Shared Resource Locks feature in testing at the moment which will allow you to specify that builds or stages must acquire a lock before running. All things being equal, this will be released to beta in the next few days.
