# Run time of actions containing childs

Perhaps it is just my expectations, but when I place some child actions under some parent action I expect the run time of the parent action&nbsp;being at least the sum of the child actions. As one can see in this log that is not always the case -&nbsp;I have highlighted the specific run times.

 It’s a regression bug, this used to work however someone changed something (possibly myself!) to fix another issue and it had an unitended consequence of breaking group runtimes. This build includes a fix for this :
