# Removed created branches in SVN

We deleted some branches in SVN where we never had a Continua config for. Now i get error messages in the event log for these branches:
SVN: DoSwitch exception Error running SVN log : Running C:\Program Files\Subversion\bin\svn.exe with arguments "switch --accept theirs-full --force --quiet --ignore-externals --ignore-ancestry -r 17955 file://komm08/svn/Repositories/Care4/Branches/Hauptversionen/2013Q4Test/ --non-interactive --trust-server-cert" failed with return code 1 and error output: "svn: E160013: Datei nicht gefunden: Revision 17956, Pfad »/Branches/Hauptversionen/2013Q4Test«

i think its a follow up but immediately after that the following appears in the event log:
Repository
Cannot get new changesets for repository Master: Error updating to changeset revision 17955

Hmmm… not sure whats going on there. I suspect svn log is still showing the branches… will test here and get back to you.

additionally, the popup that opens in the branch field, when queuing a build also contains those deleted branches. so they can be chosen even if they do not exist anymore.

after resetting the repository, everything is fine. seems to be a caching problem.

That's an issue we are already looking into, it's not easy to track when branches are deleted or closed (depending on the repository type).
