# Possible to share version number among Configurations?

Hi,
we currently get our build’s version number from a text file located on a network share. Since we are in the process of restructuring our build process we would like to get rid of the reliance on a network share.
We have multiple Continua configuriations that all increase this build number however and there does not appear to be a way we can have them use the same version number. Is there a way we can manage the build version number across multiple configurations from Continua itself or are there any plans to add this feature?

Hi Christoph,
There’s currently no way to do this, however we are planning to add an option to use a project level build number in the next few weeks.
