# "Pedantic" option changed in WiX?

It looks as if the candle.exe program from the WiX toolset has a different format for it's pedantic option than it used to have. It used to be "pedantic:". Now, according to it's help info, you no longer specify a level.

Consequently, the WiX action in FinalBuilder doesn't work. Because it \*forces\* you to specify a pedantic level, candle throws an error. I can't find a way to tell the WiX action not to specify the pendantic option at all.

Hi Andrew,   
  
 You can set the WiX actions to use the 3.0 binaries by going to the WiX options page (Tools -\> Options -\> WiX) and selecting to use Version 3.0 binaries.   
  
 You may need to update to the latest official build if you do not have these options:
