# Password prompt

Is there any way to store and re-use the password from the “Prompt for Password” action in a secure manner? Right now, it seems the only option is to store the password in variable that could then easily be read.

Automise has a String Encryption action but it’s not ideal for your scenario.

This is something we are looking to improve upon for AT6, including a password or secure string variable type.
