# Output Monitor Save Match Count to Variable forces actions to succeed

I&nbsp;use the Save Match Count to variable output monitor on a subversion action.&nbsp; I&nbsp;found that even when subversion failed with exit code 1, the action would still succeed.&nbsp; I&nbsp;narrowed this down to the Save Match Count to variable output monitor I&nbsp;had on it.&nbsp; I&nbsp;then tried adding a similar output monitor to the raise exception action and that also succeeds.&nbsp;
