# No version info in EXE

Dear members,
I am trying to accomplish a rather simple task (I though): assigning a FinalBuilder managed version info to a BCB 6 EXE project.
The version info is stored in a Property Set of type Win32 Version Info.
I think I tried all the possible combinations, checking/unchecking "Use Version Info options", "Use Property Set For Version Info", "Link ProductVersion to FileVersion".
The result is an EXE with a blank tab.
Using Property Set of type Version Number works better, but it does not help me as I would like to have a centralized Version Info to be used across several BCB projects, automatically built by one FB project.

Hi David
Make sure the Regenerate Resource option is checked, as the version info is stored in the resource file.

thanks for your reply. I quickly checked and the projects I am building have the "regenerate resource" option checked.
Actually, I posted this question to tech support and a case was opened for investigation (6954).
