# Moving FinalBuilder single user license to new domain account

Hi our company is being migrated to a new domain and our FB 6 license is installed on our build user account on the old domain. Is it possible to deactivate the license from that old account and activate on the new build user account?

There is no activation process.

The license key should be installed in

c:\programdata\vsoft\finalbuilder6

if so then it should just work if the same machine is moved to the new domain.

The license may have been installed under a user profile, if that is the case then you need to find the old user profile folder

%APPDATA%\FinalBuilder6

and copy the license file to the same folder under the new profile.

If it’s a new machine, then copy the license to

c:\programdata\vsoft\finalbuilder6

on the new machine.

Thank you it was in the %APPDATA% folder. I am trying to move the license now. Will report back!

The license worked in the programdata location thank you.
