# Missing a git branch

Hi,

after re-creating one of my Continua’s git repository, one of git’s branches is no longer available by Continua. It worked before and the branch is alright when creating a clone of the TFS server.

The one thing that’s interesting is that the branch is at the same commit as the master branch.

Any ideas?

Update:

- the branch is now at a different commit  
no change
- resetting CI’s repository  
no change
- git remote update&git branch -r  
will give the relevant branch in the git repo, but not in CI

Hi Thomas,

We not been able to reproduce this here. Can you provide some further details?

Useful information would be:

- the full git repository settings
- the names of the relevant branches
- any errors in the Continua CI event log
- a [debug log](https://wiki.finalbuilder.com/display/continua/Debug+Logging) recording of a repository reset
