# Lock File Action retains lock on file

Hi All,   
  
 Issue with Lock File Action in Finalbuilder 6.2.0.1074   
 I’m using a Lock File Action in an Action List which is triggered by a Run Action List   
  
 Main Action List   
 - My Action list   
 - - My Lock File Action   
 - - - XML Node Iterator   
 - - - - Read XML Action 1   
 - - - - Read XML Action 2   
 - - - - Exit Action List (since I want to process only the first XML node)   
  
 The Exit Action List is the last child action of the My Lock File Action. This should terminate the lock on the file but it doesn’t.   
  
 What am I doing wrong or did I find a bug.   
  
 I’m working on a test project to reproduce the issue

Hi Alfred   
  
 It’s a bug, the lock action doesn’t get told that it’s child actions are finished as the exit action list causes a major change in the process flow. This has now been fixed :

Hi,   
  
 When using the Raise Exception actions as a child of the Lock File Action the lock on teh file is retained untill the project ands.

Thanks, will fix today and post here when there is a build with the fix.
