# Licence File not working for old versions

Hi there
I’m trying to get FinalBuilder working for release 7.0.0.2411 on both Windows 8 and windows Server 2008 R2
The message I get is
The subscription in this licence key expired before this date : 23/08/13. You need to renew your subscription and re-download your licence key to use this build.
The release date for 2411 was 2nd of august so I assume that my licence should cover all versions up to 23/8/13. I have also tried version 2306 which was released on 20/06/13.
Does this mean the licence does not work with old versions? I though it might be because I’d had a more recent version of FinalBuilder installed which I was trialling, but I’ve just tried on a fresh windows 8 computer and got the same message.

Hi Chris,
You may need to copy the license file directly into the %PROGRAMDATA%\Vsoft\FinalBuilder7\ directory manually.
Let me know how that goes for you.
