# How to run powershell in 64bit mode

When I run a powershell script/file, it always runs with 32bit Powershell even if I select the option "Use 64bit Powershell".&nbsp; I can see the process in taskmgr "powershell \*32"

This seems to be a bug or is there a setting I'm missing?

Hi David   
  
 It’s a bug, windows is doing a redirection to run the 32bit version even though we specify the 64bit version, because the program lives in the system folder (or under it). I have just uploaded a fix for this :
