# How to configure Incredibuild

Bonjour,  
  
I have setup FinalBuilder to build a MS-Visual Studio 2005 project using “Build [VS.Net](http://VS.Net) Solution” actions.  
I have tried to use the “IncrediBuild”-action to speed-up the compilation, but the action fails (no errors logged).  
As there are no further information in the help-file, I would like to ask if somebody has made some experience with this action.  
I have defined the .sln in the target-property, but I do not know, were to define the project-configurations to be build.

Hi Oliver,  
  
Just some basic stuff to start with… have you set the path to Incredibuild in Tools | Options | Compilers category | Incredibuild?  
  
Does Incredibuild run properly if you run it from the command line?

Salut,  
  
Yes I have set the path to IncrediBuild.  
IncrediBuild works fine, if I use it from VS or the Tray-Icon.  
  
As I have not so much experience with IncrediBuild, I do not know how to start it from a command-line (Could you please explain to make the test ?).  
  
Is there a special version of IncrediBuild required ?  
I’m using version 2.60 Build 681.

Salut,  
  
I found the solution.  
Rather than using the .sln, I’m using directly the .vcproj files.  
This works fine (compile-time drops from 1:30h to 11min).
