# GIT built in credential helper options screen

Just wondering if I am going to the wrong place for the git built in credential helper options… the help file shows a different screen than what I see from tools options.

To try to fix I have installed the latest git version and git is installed in the program files area.  
I have updated my finalbuilder 8 to the latest version.

What I see:

Hi @jaydel,

The git actions were all updated recently. The credentials have been removed from the git options page and are now entered on the Authentication tab for the relevant actions.

We are currently in the process of updating the help pages to reflect the quite comprehensive changes to the git actions.
