# Ftps upload file missing?

Hello,  
  
I would like to convert/upgrade my plain “ftp upload file” action to the “ftps upload file” action but that action does not exist. (I only have a “ftps upload files” in the actions menu which i cannot use to upload file from different directories and at the same time rename files during the upload). Is this correct or do I overlook something obvious?  
  
If correct, any technical problems preventing implementation?  
Can it be implemented in future version?  
  
  
Using professional and the latest 8.0.0.2338

Hi Marius   
  
 I suspect that’s just an oversight on our part, the dev who wrote those actions is no longer here so I can’t ask him why. I’ll add it to the list for a future update, I’m unable to give a timeframe as we’re (as always) short on resources and working flat out trying to get things done.   
  
 There is an FTPS Rename action which you could use as a workaround for now.

 Renaming is there, but rename files on remote ftp is not the intention in this case.   
 (i tried a different approach, wont work either, see bugs)

I scratched the bug report for now, need a ftp log before ik can report anything.

Hi Marius   
  
 The next update (hopefully this week or next) has the ability to rename files during FTPS upload, by adding |newname to the end of each file, eg :   
 c:\temp\test.zip|aaa.zip   
  
 Not ideal, but maintaining backwards compatibility is important.
