I have an FTP upload that doesn’t–the log file shows STOR [filename] but no action is taken after that. It doesn’t happen every time–but enough to be painful.

This doesn’t happen in my FTP program (FTP Voyager), which uses the STOR command for upload as well.

 Here is the log file:

 7/28/2009 2:12:41 PM : PWD
Total upload size estimated at 39 MB
 Uploading File : e:\TRAKInstalls\20090728\InstallTRAK-FC.exe to : InstallTRAK-FC.exe
 7/28/2009 2:12:41 PM : PORT 192,168,0,40,16,120
 7/28/2009 2:12:42 PM : STOR InstallTRAK-FC.exe

To get out of this I have to end-task.

The FTP progress bar never shows up in the ‘Current Running Action’ viewer.

 Thank you,

 Ed Dressel

Hi Ed

Try turning on the Passive option on the FTP Connect action.

Greetings,
I know this is an old Post, but I am running into a similar issue as Ed was. I tried turning on the Passvie Option and get a error message that states "Need PORT command’ first. Is there a seperate action that sets the PORT more than setting the port in the FTP Connect action?
 Thanks!

 From Log:

 Uploading File : FTP\_TEST\_FILE.txt to :
 Uploading File : C:\MyStuff\Projects\CSP\_FTP\FTP\_TEST\_FILE.txt to :

 8/10/2010 9:43:08 AM : STOR FTP\_TEST\_FILE.txt
 Upload failed.
Data transfer not implemented for client default data port. Need ‘PORT’ command first.
