# Finalbuilder 8 no longer starting

Hello Finalbuilder team,  
  
version 8.0.0.1447 refuses to start on my Windows 7/64 bit system. &nbsp;  
  
An error window appears with an editor field that contains the version of the operating system plus a very long Base64 encoded string.

I can reproduce that here, not sure what the cause was (something corrupted during the build, investigating) but this build does work :
