Hi Support Team,

Sometimes user do thinks that do not make much sense - e.g. open a file which is already open...

FinalBuilder manages the open files via tab sheets. Because I have activated the option 'Auto Load Last Projects' the tab is seldom empty. Sometime it occurs that the tab sheet is 'overloaded' and a file I want to open is already open - it is just beyond the visible tabs ('out of view').

If I ask the FinalBuilder IDE to open an already open file in this situation nothing happens; the current tab sheet remains active, no error message. Therefore I got the notion that I must have select the wrong file in the open dialog. Therefore I do it again - with the same result.

IMHO FinalBuilder should change the active tab sheet to where the desired file resides, shouldn't it?

That would be nice :-)

Thanks in advance.

Best regards

Michael

Agreed, will fix for the next update. I had a quick look at the code, there is a stubbed out method with a comment suggesting we ask the user if they want to reload the project… I guess we never resolved what to do in that situation.
