# FBCMD hangs on termination

Sometimes the FBCMD.exe process does not terminate correctly, but seems to be hanging in an infinite loop - at least it fully utilizes a single core.   
  
 I have searched and found a number of threads referring to similar problems - apparently this problem has been around for a while but could not be fixed yet. Since this occurs only sporadically (about 1 out of 20-50 times) it is hard to reproduce.   
 However, the last time this happend I created a minidump that I could provide (compressed size is 43MB). Maybe this helps to track down the cause.

 A mini dump is of no used unfortunately, as the delphi compiler does not produce pdb’s that we can use with windbg. Please download this file :   
  
 [https://www.finalbuilder.com/downloads/private/madtraceprocess.zip](https://www.finalbuilder.com/downloads/private/madtraceprocess.zip)   
  
 and run the madtraceprocess.exe when the fbcmd hangs. It will produce a live stack trace, copy & paste that into a text file and send it to [support@finalbuilder.com](mailto:support@finalbuilder.com)

Yeah, I like Delphi a lot, but the support for pdb symbol files is something I really miss.
