Hi,I am trying to use the psexec action in FB5 and when passing the credentials the action does not pass the correct password. The command runs with _PASSWORD_ in the command line. Is anyone else having the same issue? Thanks

Hi Eugene,

I replied to you in more depth via email - but for completeness on the forums: The _PASSWORD_ is put there by FinalBuilder so that the real passwords are not printed in plaintext in the log. If you are getting failed authentication errors, it may be necessary to retype the password (you may have put in a typo by mistake.)

Finally, psexec buffers output in a weird way so sometimes the actual error message can be near the top of the log output, not the bottom. Scanning the entire log output may give a clue as to why the action is failing.

Hth.

PS In future, if possible, please only post issues to either the forums or to support. We don’t prioritise one over the other, so you’ll get a response just as quickly from either. It makes our job easier if we don’t need to chase up duplicates. Thanks!
