# FB rocks

We just did our first actual release using FB yesterday. It was awesome. We ended up with three project files:
1) Build (extracts files, builds, then compiles samples and tools). Around 15 minutes per run.
2) Release (stores build, rearranges files as they would appear on end user’s machine, stores them). About 10 minutes per run (and 4000 actions!).
3) WiX (generates and compiles WiX file, encrypts resulting .msi files, stores appropriately). Around 5 minutes per run.
With FB, the complete build, release and wix process from start to finish is literally about 6 keystrokes and less than half an hour. And virtually bulletproof - no chance of someone trying to slip a file into a release without going through the proper process, or producing a faulty build by forgetting a step.
