# FB continues after starting Wise build

I had to rebuild a machine (effectively a build server) and so I updated to the latest version of FB 5 (5.5.0.707). (I have a license for 6.x but because 5.x does everything I need, and the last major upgrade was painful, I have stayed with what works).

Now when it runs the Wise build&nbsp; action (Wise Install Proecjt for 9.x, using Wise 9.02) it starts Wise and then continues with the action--I need it to wait until the Wise build action is complete.

How can I fix ths?

Hi Ed,   
  
 What do you mean by “continues with the action”, do you mean that the action succeeds and then continues on to the next action? Could you send an example project which demonstrates this so that we can try and reproduce it here?

What do you mean by "continues with the action" 
   
  
 It starts the Wise 9 action but does not wait for it to be completed. It continues with the next action.   
  
 
Could you send an example project 
   
  
 I hardly remember how to write a Wise 9 script anymore--it's been quite a few years. I will see what I can do--it may require you place a fairly large EXE in the directory and set a variable to the file name so that the script will consume some time so that you can see that FinalBuilder does not wait.
