# Exporting variable information to log file

Is there an easy way to export variable information to the build log ?

I'm trying to create a custom build log that requires some variable information, using the "Use alternate template file" option.

The FBServer lists this information on the overview page, but I cannot find any information on the schema to write these templates.

Am I missing something obvious&nbsp;?
