# Error opening FB7 project in FB8

Windows Server 2008 R2  
FB 8.0.0.1817  
  
On opening a FB7 project with a view to switching it to FB8 I get the following error:

This error appears a lot of times (however the project in question does have a lot of uses of the MKS action).  
  
Looking in the actual project the MKS Actions are there and appear to have the same information.

Please check that the .Net Framework version is set to 4.0 in the FinalBuilder settings.

I've just gone through every setting I could see under Tools / Options and couldn't see one for the .Net Framework version - could you point me in the right direction?

Type NET in the search box on the Options page, then click FinalBuilder…

BTW, this issue will be resolved once and for all in the next update!
