# Continua CI - Changing Authentication Mode after installation

Hello everybody,  
  
Is it possbile to change the authentication mode after the installation? We now want to use our Active Directory as well. So “Mixed” mode would be best.

Yes, there is an authentication node in %_ProgramFiles%\VSoft Technologies\ContinuaCI\Server\Continua.Server.Service.exe.config._ You can change the mode attrribute to Forms, LDAP or Mixed. _&nbsp;_See [the documentation](http://wiki.finalbuilder.com/x/uQAK) for details.
