Hi,

I’m working with the clearcase check-in action and when i check-in a file i always have a file with the same name but with the .bak extension.

Is there a way to avoid having this file created?

thank you

Alexis

Hi Alexis,

In my experience, the only backup files that I saw were the .keep files if you use the -keep option. What options are you using for the check-in?

Unfortunately, the file is something which ClearCase itself is doing so it’s unlikely we can do anything to fix it. A “Delete Files” action with \*.bak may be the easiest way to keep them in check.

Regards,

Angus
