In Version History you wrote “ExportLog - enhanced speed by a factor of 10”
Thats fine, but that the entries are not in chronological order is VERY BAD ☹
When will you have fix this?

As I can see it seems it won’t be fixed, but it has been fixed. In May 1, 2007 with build 4.2.0.317.

Daniel - we fixed it in FB5 (which is probably what you remember), but didn’t back-port the fix to FB4.2!

We’ve just installed the latest build 4.2.0.319 and it’s throwing the following error on an Export Log action:
Error Exporting Log : NexusDB: : Index does not exist. [$270D/9997]
As an interim measure we’ll revert to build 4.2.0.316.

I’ve installed 4.2.0.319 on our 27 Build PC’s and we have the same error Ken reported.
It’s very bad to downgrade all Build PC’s now.

It won't work with one script that could no longer be opened with 320.
:-(
With 317 it can be opened.
Error: Unable to read log file: NexusDB: [unnamed TnxQuery instance]: Query preparation failed:
Syntax error at line 1 pos 55: [identifier], [quoted\_name] or [quoted\_temp\_name] expected [$3CA1/15521]
I added the script for your analysis.

Hi Michael,
The error message is actually to do with the log file, not the project file. Close FB, rename the “Update.fbl4” file and reopen the project and that should fix the problem.

Hi Tate,
I've deleted all files except the update.fbp4. When opening the project file the error occur.
Because there were less actions in it, I have created a new one that works.
When I compare the working project with the not working one, I see that the not working project has an additional Object Class="TBuildScript" in it. Maybe this cause the error.

ok - I see the problem now 🙂 But, can’t figure out what’s causing it - will look into it in more detail soon.
As a workaround, create a new blank project (call it update2.fbp4 for example) and save it. Close FB. Rename the update2.fbl4 to update.fbl4 and put it in the same directory as update.fbp4 (delete the existing update.fbl4 if it exists). Open FB and open update.fbp4 and it should open fine.
