# Action Description Not Updated

Hi,

I've been testing the trial version for use at my company and I have a suggestion, it would be really handy if changes to an Action's operations after its&nbsp;already been created&nbsp;would continue to update the Action Description. I've given up propogating the changes myself and just simplifying the commentary to something less verbose. However, when reviewing the Action lists it would be less error prone to be able to quickly review it detail.

Hi Blair,   
  
 FinalBuilder will do this for you, so long as you have not manually changed the action’s description. If you have changed the description manually, just blank out the field and FinalBuilder will revert back to using the auto-description.

Blanking the field does cause an auto generation which helps a lot, thanks !

 What you are seeing is a side effect of how the auto description feature works… copy and paste does have this problem. I’ll make a note to have a look at this, it may be possible to fix although I do recall looking at this in the past (don’t remember the details, too many lines of code ago).

I wouldn't worry about it, blanking the description field is good enough for me
