# 1.0.0.461 - Issue in adding a property to an agent

Hi,

&nbsp;I tried to add a custom property to an agent to host code signing certificate thumbprint.  
  
I attempted to add property with namespace Certificate.Hash, property name Distribution and with value of 4351224b5aa320a03d4a2d3bfbc554a9c8e1fb53.  
  
Attempting to add this property caused the following error to Server Event Log:  
  
Exception: PropertyValueException
